Bonus Material[]

Three pages of bonus content are included at the end of the volume:

  • The first two pages of bonus content feature dialogue that was cut from a conversation in Chapter Two (page 62, panel 3; Yen Press edition) due to page limitations. A single panel of special thanks to the volume's staff and readers immediately succeeds the scene.
  • The single-page bonus content features a mock-newspaper segment called "Carol's Notes," outlined on a pretend Baccano! Times newspaper as displayed on a spiral flipbook. The headline of the day concerns an "Unidentified Flying Creature" that was spotted leaping over rooftops during the Feast of San Gennaro, as seen in Carol's photograph. Accompanying the photo are Carol's notes, in which she wonders if the figure was human or 'some other life-form'.
    • A chibified version of Carol is drawn clutching her pencil and notebook in the foreground, her expression a mixture of alarm and fear.

Loot Crate Special Edition[]

In March 2018, the subscription based company Loot Crate announced that their April 2018 crate would contain a Baccano! product.[2] The product was a limited edition of the first Baccano! manga volume, and contained the first chapter of Ryohgo Narita's collaborative manga Dead Mount Death Play.

Pages 168-169 of the special edition advertise Dead Mount Death Play and announce a special preview. Page 171 provides Chapter 1's cover, with the chapter itself following in pages 173-216. The book credits on page 217 are the same as those of the regular edition, save for the additional line "Loot Crate Exclusive Preview."
