Synopsis[edit | edit source]

A narrator discusses how the Young Conductor always wanted to make people happy and enjoyed meeting new people as a conductor. Just before the Flying Pussyfoot departed, he met a woman and wanted to make her smile. However, he died, leaving the narrator - finally introducing himself as the Rail Tracer - wondering if the woman ended up smiling.
