Synopsis[]
In January 1932, Rachel arrives at the Alveare honey shop, nervously wondering if the President of the Daily Days was kidding about Czeslaw Meyer hanging around the premises. She recalls the incident aboard the Flying Pussyfoot, remembers how Ladd Russo had shot Czes in the head—and how both the President and the Young Conductor advised her to ask the boy himself about his ordeal.
